This course will give you a firm foundation to progress to an undergraduate degree in any of the following areas: Construction Project Management, Project Management or Property and Real Estate Management. Students can also progress onto the HND in Construction Management (Construction Design and Build Technician) course.
You will be assessed on 8 units spread evenly over the period of the programme:
This course is designed for those already in work but can work for those seeking to work in the built environment. There are planned site visits and field trips on this course to expose students to typical civil engineering projects.
Live construction projects are used as case studies and scenarios for assessments. Integrated into the course are guest speakers from industry professional bodies and companies.
The HNC Construction Management (Construction Design and Build Technician) can lead to roles such as: Construction Manager, Project Manager or Engineer, BIM Manager, Site Manager or Construction Consultant.
Progression onto the HND Construction Management for England (Construction Design and Build Technician) (HTQ) course.
Lectures, Seminars and Industry Workshops, Tutorials, 2D & 3D Modelling, Virtual / Remote Learning, Site Visits and Field Trips.
Assessments shall include course work, written assignments, project reports, presentations, professional discussions, engineering surveys and portfolios of evidence.
