On our Early Years course, you will develop the key knowledge and skills required to work with babies and young children. The modules covered will increase your understanding of children and the way they learn, the importance of health and emotional wellbeing, safeguarding issues, inclusive practice, and important employability skills such as teamwork and effective practice.
The team of lecturers who deliver this course have extensive professional experience in primary and Early Years teaching and other key services for children and families. Guest lectures from various organisations including the police, health visitors, midwives, Special Educational Needs coordinators, social workers, charity workers and family support workers will help you to build on your academic experiences by providing insights into the realities of working with young children.
