Nabila completed her PGCE Primary at Manchester Metropolitan University in 2017 and has worked in Higher Education institutions following this. She now works as a HE Student Services Officer in the Student Services team who act as a first point of contact for prospective and existing students, answering enquiries and dealing with queries. Her role also involves maintaining course documentation and recording systems pertaining to course management, applications, admissions, enrolment and assessments; to ensure that these are accurate, reliable and updated in a timely manner.
Nabila manages and maintains an effective information systems infrastructure for staff and students, providing information and data on request including support of the UCO booking systems. She is also responsible for the bursary ensuring students who are eligible receive their payment by liaising with the finance department. Additionally, she is involved in the planning and support of campus activity, providing cover and support as needed for all activities including Open Days, enrolment sessions, awards ceremonies and induction.
