Dermot Allen

Lecturer, Digital & Creative

Dermot was an international industrial product designer and sculptor for 15 years before gaining 20 years’ experience as a Lecturer in Digital Art. He has comprehensive knowledge and experience in delivering 2D digital visualisation and illustration content.

He has expertise in image manipulation, digital drawing, painting and 3D digital sculpture. Dermot has a Master’s Degree in Interactive Media Production, and his current research interests include exploring abstract and literal representations of organic forms through the use of emerging digital sculpture processes.
