HND Creative Media Production (Game Development)
Our HND Games Development programme delivers the understanding, practical skills and knowledge required to undertake a career in the constantly evolving games industry. You will develop skills in and understand the nuances of production, gameplay design, content and scripting, workflow and team working.
The course has been developed to meet the needs of industry and the curriculum has been planned to reflect working practices. Contact with employers is a key part of this, including live briefs, industry seminars and conferences.
Students are encouraged to seek placement work to enhance their employability and are supported by a dedicated HE Careers & Graduate Outcomes Officer.

Teaching consists of lectures and seminars, workshops and tutorials. These are designed to build autonomous and independent learning facilitating development of academic skills, experiences and techniques.
Live briefs and visits enable students to engage with industry and employers. Assessment is through coursework and portfolio building
Studios are equipped with top of the range industry standard equipment, allowing students to work on super-fast PC’s with RTX graphics cards, double monitor setup and a range of other hardware such as VR equipment, drawing tablets and 4K screens.
