Clearing 2022

Applying to University Campus Oldham during Clearing

Clearing 2022 is now open, but what is Clearing?

Clearing is the process of matching applicants who don’t have a confirmed university place to courses that have availability.

In 2022, Clearing opened on the 5th July and will close on the 18th October.

How do I apply through Clearing?

1. Browse courses – and find the one for you

2. Speak to the team by calling 0161 344 8800

Making the most of Clearing

When you receive your A Level results, you may not have received the grades you needed for your first choice of university, or you may have done better than you expected.

It may be that you missed the application deadline, or thought you weren’t going to university, but now you’ve changed your mind!

Whatever the reason, Clearing will allow you to explore your options. Plus, universities want to fill their courses and would love to have you on board, so there’s no need to feel embarrassed about using Clearing.

We have places available on a range of undergraduate courses.

See what courses are available

Take a look around our website to see what courses you might be interested in doing.

Entry requirements for courses during Clearing can vary from what they are during the main application period, so if you don’t have enough UCAS points don’t worry- there are many options.

Speak to us

If you need advice, we’re only a phone call away. Before you add a Clearing choice to your application, please get in touch with us to discuss your grades and we can potentially provide an informal offer.

If you’ve applied through UCAS before, we will need your Clearing number (you can find this in your application) and personal ID. Our number is 0161 344 8800.

Add your course choice to your application

Click ‘Add Clearing Choice’, and fill in the course details. We will confirm the place and this will appear as an acceptance on your ‘Choices’ page.
